This Privacy Policy explains how Runic Wyrd Wisdom (an entity of Almost Human) (ABN 13 686 727 604) of 154 Mallett Street, Camperdown NSW 2050, Australia (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information in connection with the Runic Readings progressive web app and related digital services (the “App”).
We aim to handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), where they apply. - visit or use the App (including as a guest),
- create an account,
- purchase or manage a subscription,

- Identity and account details: name, email address, username, password (stored in hashed form where applicable), age confirmation (for eligibility purposes), and account settings.
- Subscription and transaction details: plan name, billing period, payment status, transaction identifiers, and invoices/receipts (payment card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us).
- App usage and device information: IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, language, time zone, app interactions, pages/screens viewed, and diagnostic data.
- Communications: messages you send us (for example, support requests) and our responses.
- User content (if enabled): any journalling, notes, reflections, prompts, or other content you choose to store in the App.
We generally do not need “sensitive information” (as defined under the Privacy Act) to operate the App. Please avoid submitting sensitive information unless the App explicitly asks for it.

We collect personal information in the following ways:
- Directly from you when you sign up, use the App, purchase a subscription, enter content, or contact us.
- Automatically when you use the App via cookies, local storage, and similar technologies, as well as server logs and analytics tools.

We may collect, use and disclose personal information to:
- provide, operate and maintain the App,

Where the Privacy Act applies, we handle personal information in accordance with the APPs. Where applicable, we may rely on:
- your consent (for example, where you opt in to marketing),
- the necessity to perform a contract (for example, to provide a subscription you purchased), and
- our legitimate operational interests (for example, maintaining security and improving the App), balanced against your rights.
6. Disclosure of personal information
We may disclose personal information to:
- service providers who support the App (for example, hosting, analytics, customer support systems, email delivery, authentication, and payment processing),
- professional advisers (for example, lawyers, accountants, insurers) where necessary,
- regulators, courts, or law enforcement where required or authorised by law, and
- a buyer or successor entity if we restructure, merge, or sell the App (subject to appropriate protections).
We do not sell personal information.

11. Access, correction and deletion
You can request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. You can also request deletion of your account. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

12. Marketing preferences
If you opt in to marketing, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the message or by contacting us. Service and billing messages are not marketing and may still be sent while you have an account or subscription.
13. Children and age eligibility (16+)
The App is intended for users aged 16 years and over. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian’s permission to use the App and make purchases. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
